What is sexual harassment under the Penal Code?
The crime of sexual harassment is typified in Article 184 of the Penal Code and occurs when a person requests favors of a sexual nature, for himself or for a third party, within the framework of an employment, teaching or service provision relationship, causing the victim an objective and seriously intimidating, hostile or humiliating situation.
This crime does not require physical contact or a previous affective relationship. It is sufficient that there is unwanted, repeated or abusive pressure of a sexual nature, exercised from a position of power or influence.
What types of sexual harassment are there?

- Peer harassment: in work, study or service environments.

What penalties may be involved?
